The Lancaster Hotel’s new restaurant pays tribute to the year the hotel was constructed.
Grille Nineteen 26 and its bar have both undergone a complete interior design refinement and renovation.
The new Grille Nineteen 26 has embraced its pride of place as one of Houston’s most intimate and seasoned fine dining establishments. Looking beyond the latest in trends, we chose to let time be the best critique combining the spirit of classic luxury with modern touches in the restaurant like the curated original contemporary art by Texas Artists such as Gael Stack, Trenton Doyle Hancock, Allison V. Smith, Tommy Fitzpatrick, and others.
Grille Nineteen 26 hopes to imbibe the feeling of a sophisticated yet warm respite as you enjoy dinner with friends, a business power breakfast, lunch or as the perfect compliment to a pre or post theater supper.
In addition, we are creating a wonderful European style al fresco dining experience just outside the main restaurant on Texas Avenue and Louisiana Street. Perfect for a sunny breakfast, lunch or casual dinner, a relaxing glass of wine or the Lancaster’s own Speedy Boy coffees.
Many of your favorite dishes are still on the menu such as the Blue Crab Cakes, Chicken Paillard, and the Prime Filet Mignon. A new menu is in creative development and promises additions that will soon be new favorites. Desserts are still superb and of course guests of The Lancaster Hotel always receive priority reservations.
We very much look forward to hearing the chime of your raised glasses upon our re-opening.
A warm and distinctive oasis providing inventive cocktails and vintage wine service to the bar, Grille Nineteen 26, and the front lobby lounge. The warmth of fine mahogany, a custom zinc bar-top, and ribbed gold glass adds to its classically restrained elegance while a custom lighting design makes the bar glow with a touch of 1926 charm with a modern vibe.
